I had the best experience with Ashley as my doula. She is incredibly kind and personable; I felt comfortable with her from our first meeting. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge on the birthing process as well as postpartum care. Ashley provides 2 prenatal meetings which include a detailed breakdown of the stages of labor as well as tips for your labor support person. I felt much more prepared for my birth experience after meeting with Ashley. We also talked extensively about my birth preferences and the pros and cons of each. She even brought a cute sheet listing all of my preferences to the birth for my midwife to refer to! As a nurse, I appreciate that Ashley makes an effort to stay up to date on current evidenced based labor practices. I felt confident going into my hospital birth because I knew Ashley would advocate for my preferences. Ashley was also able to recommend a fantastic lactation consultant when I was struggling in my early postpartum days. I found Ashley through a friend’s recommendation and I will definitely be recommending her to all of my family and friends who are expecting. If I ever have another baby, Ashley will be my first call!

Ash is absolutely wonderful!! I reached out to her around 12 weeks pregnant with my first, I was confused and a bit nervous but I knew from the moment we started talking that she was a great fit and truly a great person. She has wonderful resources throughout pregnancy and postpartum. It was so nice that she was also very accommodating and helpful to my husband. We did not know anything and the prep work with Ash was invaluable along with evidenced based knowledge and pamphlets all of which I kept. I love the preferences sheet she prepares and how she kept me in mind the whole time during labor. She is comforting, does not judge and truly cares for you and your family. We still have our upcoming postpartum visit and I cannot wait to see Ash again, although this is a paid service we know we have a friend for life. Ash was with us during the most special time of our lives and that means the world to us. Thank you so much for your care during my pregnancy and beyond! Highly recommend you go with Moonstone Doula. The quality, level of care and forethought, the thoroughness, empathy, qualifications, and responsiveness to all your needs is what Ash delivers. The doula service she has built is robust, and totally comprehensive.
She’s an incredible human, empathetic yet so capable of exactly what you need in the moment. She caters to each person’s individual needs, and doesn’t discriminate against anyone. Her prices are incredible. She helps all with open arms.
She was the light at the end of my labor tunnel. Could not have done it without her. Constantly pivoting to be what I needed in the moment before I even asked for it. For example, she knew my mantras that worked best for me and told them to me leading up to and during the contractions to help me stay focused on them and breathing. She even made beautiful art with my mantras on them to put up on the wall while birthing. It was invaluable to have her next to me the whole time to process the new inputs as a first time mom. She was the only reason I was able to stay in the moment and not get overwhelmed. For instance, when the hospital said I was complete but my contractions were farther apart, she helped me process and think through it to a positive point of view by saying- my body knows what to do. Let’s try the try-pushes and make our next decision then. She always provided options for me to choose using the BRAIN method. She didn’t push anything on me, only supported my/our wishes.
She was phenomenal working with each hospital staff personnel, as well as my husband and mom. She educated them on how they could support me too.
Further examples of her thoroughness are- she set up the room with a very cool ambiance that she brings, and even in the tub room with candles so I was more soothed working through contractions. She spoke up to advocate for my birth plan as well. She knew a host of movements, positions, and strategies to try based on the needs of moving baby into the most ideal position or for pain management.
The meetings prior to birth were invaluable. We took other baby classes, and they didn’t compare to how efficient and streamlined Ash’s educational meetings were. They were the most thorough, educating us on what to expect. She gave numerous useful items for birth and handouts. Plus, at the follow up postpartum visit, she brought a healing postpartum drink, sits bath bags, milk bags, tea, and an adorable baby onesie.
All and all, Ash stayed in great communication checking on me/ us throughout, and was the best part of the birthing experience. I highly recommend her to anyone. You will be glad you went with Ash.

We cannot recommend Ash enough! My husband and I are very research and data driven, so when it came to the birth of our first born we wanted to find a Doula that would be able to address the many questions we expected to have and to be our advocate in the delivery room. Ash not only provided knowledge, data/research, and experience to support our questions and make us comfortable with the plethora of decisions (and a few curve balls) leading up to and throughout delivery, but she also provided a calm, warm, and nurturing presence. She loves what she does and it was apparent from the first time we met her. We hope to have more kiddos and Ash will definitely be a part of our delivery journey again.

Ash was awesome to work with! I was skeptical at first, just wanted my wife to have what she felt she needed, but having a Doula was a great support to me once we were at the hospital and helping my wife through labor. Ash is a team player and brings a lot of strengths and resources to the birth experience! I can definitely say my new little son’s birth wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without her there. Second kid but first time using a doula and choosing Ash was truly the best decision. Pre-birth, Ash is very resourceful - it felt so reassuring to have someone to bounce information off of and stay empowered with my decisions.
During the birth, Ash was very hands on and brought tools that helped me a lot and, most importantly, gave my husband the support he needed to help me.
Overall, I felt very secure knowing that Ash really championed me and fought for my birth plan while I was a little busy bringing a life into this world. Highly recommend.

Ash is just the best! As first time parents her prenatal sessions were so helpful for my partner and I. For a few reasons our plan for natural birth shifted to a 37.5 week induction and luckily we had some time to prepare for that with Ash. At the end of the day my birth looked very different than I imagined, but having Ashley along the way made my experience that much better. Having someone on your team with many birth experiences was so nice going into a potentially scary experience.
So so thankful for Ashley and for her being a part of our baby boy’s story!

We worked with Ash for the birth of our first baby. She is an absolute gem! She met with us several times to answer questions and educate us on what to expect throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. When I had questions during pregnancy about what I was experiencing, she was just a quick text away. When I was unexpectedly induced due to preeclampsia, she guided me and my husband through decisions at the hospital until it was time for her to arrive during active labor. Finally, she checked on me often postpartum (she still does!!) and has been a true guide through this new season of life. I’m so glad we’ve had Ash throughout the journey!

My husband and I were to grateful to have Ash as part of our pregnancy and birth journey. Ash has so much knowledge to share about labor and birth, and the prenatal sessions helped us better understand coping strategies and our priorities for birth. She was available for check-ins and questions as needed by text. During labor, she helped us feel calm, confident, and informed when making decisions. It was also a bonus to get a visit postpartum to process our birth experience and to get help with breastfeeding and other questions. We would 100% work with Ash again if we had another baby

As a first time parent, I am so thankful my husband and I had Ashley to help us navigate my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. The education we received in our prenatal sessions made me more familiar of what to expect in reference to the various possibilities for the birth experience, which significantly reduced my anxiety at the time of my son’s birth because I had some understanding of what was happening every step of the way! During my son’s birth, Ashley was very grounding the entire time, and after my son’s arrival she took photos of us that I will cherish forever! Postpartum, Ashley checked in with us frequently and has made a point to let us know she will always be a support for us! I would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for compassionate, well resourced, experienced doula!!
Through our the whole pregnancy and birth process, we didn't know what we knew or didn't know. In a world of so many things to learn, check off, and prepare for birth and the life transformation that follows, it was really easy to feel overwhelmed. That was until we partnered with Ash and her abundant treasure trove of tips, research, and passionate care. She made a huge difference in the birth process and all the steps leading up and following. She is on point, loves what she does, and blends her wonderful personality as an advocate and friend. It would be hard to imagine the whole process without a talented and well coordinate Doula such as herself. If you are looking to build more support or even educate and learn more about the delivery process and with pre and post care, she's more than capable and comes highly recommended by my family! She's the best!

My husband and I decided to enlist the services of a doula when we found out I was pregnant so that we could both have a positive birth experience, and we are so happy that we found Ashley. The information and support she provided during my pregnancy was so valuable. When I had to make an important decision about my care provider mid-pregnancy, she helped me to feel confident in what I chose to do. And, during labor and delivery, I was so glad that she was in the room with us. She again helped me to feel confident in my decisions during the birthing process. In the end, I was very satisfied with my birthing experience. I also know that if things had been more complicated or gone differently, her support would have helped me through that as well. Ashley is kind, knowledgable, inclusive, assertive on behalf of her clients, and validating. She also provides great counter pressure during contractions! We highly recommend her.

Ash was amazing! I felt like this was maybe a boujee investment, but I couldn't have been more wrong! She was attentive and knowledgeable. She provided lots of resources and asked questions about things I hadn't even considered. She made me feel empowered and helped me to truly have the birth experience I had envisioned. I can't recommend her enough and I urge any client to sign up for post-partum services as well. Her oatmeal is sooooo yummy!

Ash was super friendly when I first met her we had a great chat online before deciding to work together . The first week we talked through birth which was really crucial for me , she went through tasty recipes that she went on to make and couldn’t help me enough physically as I had an unplanned section. She is very knowledgeable about postpartum recovery and empowers you to rest & heal, to connect with baby and will do anything you ask ! She really was so helpful in our journey as first time parents and has become our friend too.

As a doula myself, I wasn’t sure if I needed one for my own birthing experience. However, my husband and I decided to interview several and see how we felt about them. As soon as we met with Ashley, I knew she was the doula for me and I’m SO glad we chose her to help guide me with my VBAC. Shortly after hiring Ashley, my pregnancy got a little complicated and several doctors in my practice were making a possible VBAC very difficult. Ashley helped me advocate for myself and soothe my nerves when having to go head to head with some of my doctors. She helped prepare us for labor and delivery with kind and loving guidance.
Going into my labor & delivery, I felt quite anxious after having a somewhat traumatic first birthing experience. Ashley soothed me during labor and helped calm my nerves; allowing me to be very open with my feelings without judgement. When presented with medical interventions during labor, Ashley helped advocate for me and make sure that I had time to consider my options and choose what was best for me. During the 3.5 hours I spent pushing, Ashley stayed by my side and encouraged me to not give up. Her belief in me kept me going when I was struggling to believe in my own ability to birth my baby vaginally. Without her on my team, I’m not sure I would have stayed the course of a vaginal birth, but because of her encouragement and advocacy, I had a successful VBAC (to a very large baby). My husband and I are so grateful to have had her with us as she was a huge support to us BOTH. If we ever have another child, we will certainly be asking Ashley to join us back in the delivery room.

Ash was such a great support as a postpartum doula. She is a great listener and provides great advice. As a new mom with family far away, it was great to have someone to talk about new parenting feelings and questions. She is great at communicating and working with your needs. I wish I knew about her before I gave birth, but I am glad I found her for much needed postpartum support!

Ash was amazing! She is so supportive and kind and responsive, I always felt like I was in good hands with her. She read the room with me very well - sometimes I needed her to reassure me with facts and information, sometimes I needed her to just joke with me. Somehow she always knew what I needed and responded accordingly. And she's dang good at it - she was my fertility doula and I got pregnant, you just can't argue with results like that! I would happily work with her again and again!
